St Peter & St Paul Church Film

The plan is to make a “Life Of The Parish” film through 2023.
Why?
For something for people to look back on, a snapshot in time where we look at the challenges ahead and show life as it was in 2023.

Before the incredible tools for making films became universally available, people would write illustrated books, but the audience was limited, and watching moving images in a video just can’t be beaten by photos and print. As time passes it will give a picture of what life was like within a small Church of England parish in the early 21st century and what the aspirations were for the future.

On the Church Scenes To Be Filmed page is a non-exhaustive list. This will be added to/modified as the year goes on. Eventually, once all the footage is gathered, the massive task of editing it all into a whole will begin. Should there be backing music? if so, how will it be used? A “guide” voiceover to the film will be provided by Chris Hodges when the edit is nearing final cut.

Filming will be done primarily with a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with a Panasonic Lumix GH4 as secondary camera. Editing/colour/audio/delivery will be via DaVinci Resolve Studio
